Neon signs hang over cobblestone streets, tea houses rub shoulders with arcades, and brothels, soaplands, burlesques, and love hotels line the roads. Yoshiwara is a city that runs on sex and spectacle, and one can always find lascivious acts, toys, and images for sale. Yet the periodic supernatural mischief and behind the scenes power struggles have Yoshiwara in a constant state of flux. The balance of power could shift at any moment - and the steady trickle of otherworldly visitors may be the perfect catalyst to tip the scales.

Yoshiwara Nights is a sex game set in a fictionalized version of Yoshiwara, a red light district that was established near Tokyo during the Edo period, against a backdrop of Japanese folklore flavored urban fantasy. With no way home and no one else on their side, characters must either prove their usefulness to the city's various factions or carve out their own niche in the city.
