「 Basics 」 EVERY MONTH each character must submit... • 15 comments from 2 to 4 threads FOR GEN AC the comments must be broken into... • 15 comments of any type FOR SMUT AC the comments must be broken into... • 10 comments of smut from the past two months • 5 comments of any type ONE OF EACH of the following may be used each month... • A backdated thread • A TDM thread • An inbox thread EACH ONE OF THE FOLLOWING counts as one thread: • A top level on an event or mingle log • An open post to the log or network communities • A closed post to the log or network communities • A tag out to someone else's top level or post • A tag to an inbox post 「 Details 」 AC is 15 comments every month, spread out between at least 2 threads and no more than 4 threads. Activity is always open and may be submitted at any time throughout the month. The current activity check can be found in the activity check tag on the OOC community. Each player will owe smut AC on alternating months. During gen months (the first of which will be your first full AC period), you may submit 15 comments of any type. During smut months, at least 10 of the AC comments must be smut tags from the past two months. For your first full smut AC, smut comments from your TDM threads and acceptance/check-in month will be allowed. Gen comments must always be from the current AC month, even during smut months, and all comments submitted for gen AC months must be from the current month, even if they're smut. Top levels and posts will count as one thread for the purposes of AC. All starters for the same post or top level will count as one comment, even if they're split up into individual comments. Tags to the TDM and private inboxes are allowed for AC. You may only use one of each thread per AC round. 「 Smut Requirements 」 For a tag to qualify as smut, all characters involved must show clear signs of arousal OR an obvious desire or intent to engage in sexual activity. Straightforward scenes like handjobs, oral sex, and regular sex all count. Less traditional scenes such as prolonged foreplay, erotic massages, and one-sided teasing can also count provided they meet the above criteria. Intimate but non-sexual acts (e.g.: cuddling, hand holding, lip to lip kissing) will not count for smut AC unless accompanied by other, more explicitly sexual acts. For the time being, the mods have elected to take a flexible approach to smut AC so long as players seem to be acting in good faith. Abuse of this flexibility will result in more rigid requirements being implemented. 「 Excluding Comments 」 Submitting smut tags during your gen month is allowed, but those smut tags cannot be reused for your smut AC. Players may find themselves in a position of wishing to submit an entire top level thread during their gen month, but not wanting the smut comments from the subthreads to be counted. In those cases, players should only include the total number of gen comments in the comment count field on their activity check comment. For example, say that you've submitted a top level with 20 comments for your gen month, but you only wish to use half of those comments for that AC. In cases like this, you should format the field like so: Thread 1: LINK (10) GEN By doing so, the mod team will only count the first 10 gen comments in the thread, even if there are other gen or smut comments available. The mod team will contact you if any of the noted gen comments would instead count as smut comments. 「 Backdated Threads 」 New tags on "backdated" threads (that is, threads started before the current AC period) are permitted with limitations. You may only use one backdated thread per AC round. Even on old threads, all tags must be from within the current AC period. There is no limit to how old the backdated thread can be, but threads may not be used for AC more than once. The only exception is if a thread used for gen AC has progressed and is now being used as a smut AC thread. Threads cannot be resubmitted outside of these circumstances and cannot be reused more than once. Note that the tags must be still unused; if you submit ten smut tags during a gen month, you cannot reuse those ten tags for smut AC. 「 Hiatus 」 You must be on hiatus for two weeks to gain an AC exemption. Hiatus notifications must be posted to the hiatus page at least two weeks before AC closes. Taking a hiatus will push back your current AC period. If you owe gen AC in January and take a hiatus, you will own gen AC in February instead. If you owe smut AC in November and take a hiatus, you will owe smut AC in December instead. You may only gain an AC exemption from hiatus once every 3 months (i.e.: if you're exempt in January you cannot be exempt again until April). You may not go on hiatus for more than one month without mod approval. Even with mod approval, hiatuses may not extend beyond two months. 「 Failing AC 」 Responding to AC with only 5 to 14 comments will result in a strike. In order to clear the strike, you must clear AC the following month and submit an additional 5 comments of gen or smut, depending on the month you failed. Failing to respond to the AC post, or responding with less than 5 comments, will result in your removal from the game and bar you from reapplying for the same character for two months. Taking a strike during a gen AC month will skip your gen AC. Taking a hiatus during a smut AC month will push back your smut AC. In short, if you take a strike, you will always owe smut AC the next month. 「 Example Schedule 」 Assume that Amaterasu applied and was accepted in January. • For the January AC round, Amaterasu only needs to check in by submitting one thread of any length. • For the February AC round, Amaterasu must submit 15 comments made in February. • For the March AC round, Amaterasu must submit 15 comments, at least 10 of which much be smut comments from January, February, or March. • For the April AC round, Amaterasu must submit 15 comments made in April. • For the May AC round, Amaterasu must submit 15 comments, at least 10 of which much be smut comments from April or May. 「 Example AC Submissions 」 PASSES Example 1 • An event top level with 10 comments • A tag out with 5 comments Example 2 • A tag out with 5 comments • Another tag out with 5 comments • A third tag out with 5 comments Example 3 • A backdated TDM thread with 5 comments • An inbox thread with 10 comments Example 4 • An open post with 10 comments • An event top level with 5 comments FAILURES Example 1 • A top level subthread with 10 comments • A subthread from the same top level with 5 comments. Reason: All subthreads from the same top level count as one thread. Remedy: Submit another thread of any length that is not from the same top level. Example 2 • A thread from your inbox with 10 comments • A thread from someone else's inbox with 5 comments Reason: Only one inbox thread may be used per month. Remedy: Submit a non-inbox thread with at least 5 comments. Example 3 • A thread, backdated to last month, with 5 comments • A thread, backdated to two months ago, with 10 comments Reason: Only one backdated thread may be used per month Remedy: Submit a thread started in the current month with at least 5 comments.
